The very first time you handle an item, you need to Create it or Receive it.
From the left menu, select CHECKINS. Then choose Create.
Record the Item Type Name and the "At:" location. Both the Item Type and the Location need to have been added previously.
You can leave the "From:" field blank if you don't want to record where the item originates. Or you can record the code of the item it is created from.
If you have an Item Code on the new item, you can record it, or leave it blank to have ItemPath assign one automatically.
ItemPath will let you print a label or tag when you create an item.
