Checking for Errors
For checking for errors, we recommend adding a report per integration that check for an Export State Type of 5. Pre-built templates of these reports (Pick Confirmations with Errors and Put Confirmations with Errors) can be downloaded from this list here.
Try setting a report up manually by creating a History report with these columns:
- History ID or Order Name
- History Type or order Direction Type
- Export State Type
- Creation Date
Then, filter the data by the Export State Type of 5, and use the History Type or Direction Type to get the kinds of orders (picks, puts, counts, etc.) you want to specify. You could also set a date range, like 7 days ago.
You can now connect this report to a workflow to automatically get notified about these errors in the report. Try checking the report each week for any report rows and sending an email to yourself with the report attached. Follow the walkthrough in the Workflows course if you need a refresher!
Tip: If your logs are showing errors that you aren't able to diagnose, feel free to contact support@itempath.com for help.
