Activate Your Integration
At long last, we've come to the final steps of the integration project: turning on your integration!
With Data Pull and Data Push, you can turn on your integrations through the Settings section. Toggle the switch to Active and the automation will begin running.
With Variance, the integration will run based on the report and data caching intervals. So feel free to start building your report!
Note: There are advanced use-cases where you wouldn't want to activate the integration! Activating the integration means that it will run automatically, if you plan on using an external service to connect with the Data Pull integration endpoint or if you plan on only using manual features, you don't need to complete this step.
Move to production
If you've been working in a test environment, which we strongly recommend, you now need to repeat the configurations in your production environment. Through thorough testing in an isolated environment, you can hopefully prevent any errors from leading to costly complications with your VLM systems and ERP.
The steps remain the same:
- Configure the connection.
- Configure the integration.
- Setup your mappings.
- Test.
- Then activate the integration.
Good luck!
