FAQs about On-Premise Installation

1. Who will install ItemPath on this server?

Your team will be responsible for installing ItemPath, which is straightforward using Docker. This guide explains the installation process.
 

2. Do you need access to this server?

We recommend giving the ItemPath support team SSH local root access to the machine running ItemPath (usually done by VPN). This is needed to perform maintenance, support, and upgrades.
 

3. Is it the same server for PowerPick and ItemPath or just for ItemPath?

ItemPath should be on its own server, separate from Power Pick, but the two will need to be able to communicate with each other (see requirements above).
 

4. Do you need MS Visual Studio installed on the ItemPath server?

ItemPath does not require MS Visual Studio.
