Why are links to ItemPath not working?

If you're finding links back to ItemPath are not working or seem incomplete, it's likely that your settings haven't been configured with the correct subdomain name or IP address.

For Cloud Customers

To fix this, you'll need to update your settings in ItemPath:

  1. Click "Settings" in the footer of ItemPath and opening the General tab (open by default).
  2. Locate the section called ItemPath URL and update the URL field with your correct cloud URL.

For On-Premise Customers 

To get fully clickable, automated links working natively, your team must complete two steps:

  • Review Firewall Rules: Have your internal IT or network administration team review your local firewall and proxy rules. They must ensure that outbound HTTPS traffic on Port 443 is completely allowed so ItemPath can communicate with the Mailgun API.
  • Update Settings in ItemPath: 
    • Click "Settings" in the footer of ItemPath and opening the General tab (open by default).
    • Locate the section called ItemPath URL and update the URL field with the local IP address or domain where ItemPath is installed.
