How long does it take for a transaction to send?

Transactions send quickly enough that the time is measured in milliseconds. You can see how long a transaction took to send in the Logs tab of the Data Push integration.

Hovering over the Time column header will show you the tooltip below:

"This measures the total export time in milliseconds, from when the transaction starts processing to when a response is received, if there is one."

The time a transaction takes to send depends on a few factors:

  • The number of transactions in the queue, as they're sent one at a time
  • The speed of the server receiving the transactions
  • The processing speed of any middleware that handles sending the transactions to ERP software
