Add Custom Statuses for Order Builder

Order Builder allows you to define custom statuses for orders, which can be helpful for configuring approval steps to be done by staff inside of ItemPath. Without any additional statuses beyond the two defaults, orders will be sent to Power Pick right away by default. 

To add or modify a custom status:

  1. Select Settings at the bottom of any ItemPath screen or page.
  2. Select the Apps tab.
  3. Select Order Builder.
  4. Provide a Name and Description for your status. 
  5. Select Add Status

You can use the drag and drop icons to rearrange statuses as needed — the statuses of "Ready to be Sent to Power Pick" and "Sent to Power Pick" are required as the final two statuses in Order Builder. "Ready to be Sent to Power Pick" is used by Order Builder to send the order to Power Pick. 

Note: There is also an additional "Error" status if something prevents Order Builder from properly working with the Order created by your integration. Since this is a system status for exceptions, it doesn't occur in the ordering.
