Export or Import a Variance Integration

You may wish to copy an instance of a Variance integration from one environment to another. The app supports this through downloadable templates that store your configuration options as JSON.

To export a Variance integration:

1. Navigate to the Variance app.
2. Select your integration.
3. Select Download Template, and confirm.

This will download the template as a JSON file via your browser. If you wish to review or adjust the file, we recommend using an extension to expand the JSON across multiple lines.

The following settings aren't exported in the configuration:

• SQL filters associated with the template and the Connection.

To import a valid Variance template:

1. Navigate to the Variance app.
2. Select Import Template > Browse Files
3. Select the JSON file you would like to upload.

You will be brought immediately to the integration in the Variance app.
