Workflows Overview

Workflows allow ItemPath to work for you by automating events and notifications based on your data. Instead of manually monitoring reports, you can set up triggers that execute specific actions when certain conditions are met - keeping your operations running smoothly and your team informed.

A workflow consists of a Trigger and an Action. When the criteria are met, ItemPath automatically performs a task. Workflows can be used to send notifications or trigger apps.

Notifications

Keep stakeholders informed by sending automated alerts directly from ItemPath.

  • Email: Send a copy of a report or a custom message to one or more recipients. Reports can be sent in either XLSX or CSV format.
  • SMS: Send text notifications to mobile devices for immediate attention.

App Triggers (Available as add-ons)

  • Lights: Change the state or colour of integrated smart lights to visually signal order statuses or system alerts on the warehouse floor.
  • Order Builder: Automatically trigger the creation of new orders based on report criteria.
  • Data Push / Data Pull: Automatically trigger an integration to run based on report criteria.

Users' ability to view, create, edit, and delete workflows is determined by the permissions of their user role.
